Gardening
in Port Hope
A local group for gardening enthusiasts of all ages. The club meets regularly to host talks and presentations by guest speakers on topics like plant care, pruning, and garden design. We organize social gatherings, garden outings, flower shows, and competitions where members can share their work and learn from one another. Fundraising events such as annual plant sales support the club and encourage local participation in gardening. Overall, the club is about sharing practical gardening knowledge, connecting with others who enjoy plants and flowers, and contributing to local green spaces.

Members Garden Visits
Over the course of the summer (May to September) we encourage everyone to visit other members’ gardens. It is always interesting to see what others have done with their urban and rural spaces; plant choice, colour schemes, garden layouts. It is a great opportunity to ask questions, and share gardening knowledge.
